Barbara Jean Glaser

Barbara Jean Glaser, 71, died on September 8, 2017, leaving behind a loving family and many friends.
She was the retired co-owner of Town & Country Hairstyles in Bartlett, a gifted home cook who had numerous recipes published in The Commercial Appeal, a lover of loose slots, 'American Idol', and most of all, her family.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Terry Glaser of Bartlett, daughter, Missy Stivers (John) of Memphis, daughter, Amy Davidson of Bartlett, and son, Max Glaser of Memphis. She also leaves her grandchildren, Oliver Davidson of Bartlett and Lily Stivers of Memphis, a soon-to-arrive great-grandchild, sisters, Jane Biggs (Ron Conley) of Sardis and Tommie Drake of Hickory Withe, and three generations of loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 North Germantown Road in Bartlett, and funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at Memphis Funeral Home cemetery.

MIssy, I just saw the notice of your mother's death. My heart is with you. I wish I could be with you for visitation or the funeral, but I will be out of town until Tuesday evening. I send my deepest sympathy to you, Amy, Max and your dad.

So very sorry to hear about Barbaras passing. She is my cousin and we went to school together for all twelve years. I have some good memories of that. My thoughts and prayers going out to her husband and children and all of her family. I know she will be loved and missed so very much. RIP Barbara Jean. I love you
