I first met Valerie in grade school when she lived on Alrose and we played at Marquette Park. We were high school friends in a club called We Moderns. I loved her warm, caring style. While college and most of adult life were spent in different parts of the world, I never forgot her sweet soul and delightful personality. I'm praying for all her family and friends who have lost a true joy in their lives.
May she Rest In Peace.
