I am so sad to hear about Eleanor’s passing. She and Dudley were wonderful neighbors on Winslow Circle. When my mom and I first moved in, she warmly welcomed us with a jar of her delicious, homemade orange marmalade. Over the years, I enjoyed our phone conversations (there were a few times she called to warn me about a bear in their yard heading my way), her visits to our home and catching up when she and Dudley would be out for a walk. She was the last person I visited before moving to FL years ago. She sent me notes and cards even after I moved. I’ve missed her ever since. She was very special.
