Ken Joyce passed away Monday, March 5, 2018, after a period of failing health. He was born on April 17, 1942, in Manchester to Edmond and Emma Joyce. 

As a young man, he became a journeyman with Bow Plumbing & Heating, then a Master Plumber. He went on to be the Vice President of Devere Construction located Ellicott City, Md., spending the 1970s and 80s rehabbing government housing projects throughout the South. He later came back to New Hampshire where he married his beloved wife, Maryann, and operated Ken Joyce Plumbing & Heating until his retirement. 

Family members include his daughters, Stephanie Easler and her husband, Brian of Boscawen, Sandra Quint and her husband, Gary of Concord, and son, Shawn Joyce and his wife, Lynne of Rye, as well as grandchildren, Carsen, Emma, Colleen and Dustin. 

He is survived by his brother, Edmund "Ed" Joyce of Manchester, sister, Kathleen "Kathy" and brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Shepherd of Goffstown, close friend and nephew, Butch Welch, as well as many other nephews, nieces and their children. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ann, who he loved very much and was right beside him watching the Red Sox and New England Patriots, his brothers, Robert "Bob" Joyce and Richard "Dick" Joyce, as well as his sisters Joanne (Joan) Shea and Sally Welch. 

There will be a celebration of Ken's life for his friends and family on Sunday, March 25, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Red Blazer Restaurant, 72 Manchester Street, Concord.
