RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – William D. Elkins Jr., 53, formerly of Pittsfield, died at his home in Rancho Cordova, Calif. on Monday, June 27, 2016. 

He was born on March 4, 1963, in Concord, living in the area until moving to California over 20 years ago.

He loved working on cars and his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  He was an avid biker and enjoyed the time spent with his friends and fellow Bikers in his motorcycle club.  His hobbies included outdoing his neighbor's exterior decorations and displays for various holidays and maintaining his garden.

Survivors include his companion, Charlotte Marino of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; close friend and care-giver, Robert O'Neil of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; two daughters, Stephanie Alfaro of Woodsville and Stephanie Dansereau of Barnstead; a son, Donald "DJ" Elkins of Eugene, Ore.; two granddaughters, Adriana Robles and Victoria Nwikina; his father, William D. Elkins and stepmother, Carol of Pittsfield; his mother, Patricia B. Bergevin and stepfather, Ernest of Epsom; and his sister, Kelly Elkins of Hillsboro.  He is also survived by his stepbrothers, Michael, Ronald and Christopher Gagne, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, July 30, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.  A Memorial Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. followed by refreshments after the service.

Interment will be at Floral Park Cemetery in Pittsfield at a later date.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pope Memorial SPCA, 94 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH 03301.
