Sandra Hinrichsen Obituary

Sandra Jean Hinrichsen Mar. 6, 1939 ~ Oct. 3, 2009 Resident of Lafayette Sandra, a Martinez native, passed away suddenly on Saturday at a local hospital with her family at her side Sandra was born to Carlton and Margaret Hinrichsen of Martinez, graduated from Alhambra High School in 1957, soon married and had 3 children. She worked at the Contra Costa County Tax Collector's Office, retiring in 2004. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who just adored her grandchildren, visiting and spoiling them with little gifts each time (As a grandma is supposed to do!) She is survived by her long time companion of 14 years: Salvador Lucca; mother Margaret Hinrichsen; brother Donald Hinrichsen; son David Willson; son and daughter-in-law Robert Willson and Thi La; daughter and son-in-law Karen and Ron Adamovich; grandchildren Cody and Samantha Adamovich and nephew Ryan Hinrichsen. Services will be held on Friday morning, October 9th at 11am at Connolly and Taylor Funeral Chapel located at 4000 Alhambra Avenue in Martinez. Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to Zio Fraedo's Restaurant at 611 Gregory Lane in Pleasant Hill to reminisce, share stories and honor Sandra's life. There will also be a visitation at Connolly and Taylor Funeral Chapel on Thursday evening, October 8th from 5pm to 8pm. Also, contributions can be made to a dear friend's charity in Sandra's honor: The Tanner Bertauche Medical-Fund, P.O. Box 1208, Shingle Springs, CA 95682-1208.
