Alice Wolfe Obituary

Alice J. Wolfe

NEWARK: Alice J. Wolfe of Newark went to be with her Lord and Savior suddenly on March 4, 2013. Alice was born May 8, 1939, to the late Allen and Doris Fowler in Coshocton County, Ohio.

A funeral service for Alice will be held at 1PM, Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street in Newark. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens. Pastor Anthony Bartlett will officiate. Friends and family may call 2-4 and 6-8PM, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the funeral home.

Alice was a very loving, giving mother, doting grandmother, fun loving aunt, as well as a surrogate mother and grandmother to many who knew her. She enjoyed sewing, baking, canning, word puzzles and church activities. She shared many travels and adventures in life with her soul mate whom she admired and missed dearly. Alice was known for her extreme kindness to others as well as her jolly laughter and strong faith in God.

She was a lifetime member of the Church of God Licking County, Newark, Ohio. In her earlier years, she worked as an x-ray technician at Licking Memorial Hospital and for Newark City Schools, where she later retired.

Alice was preceded in death by her mother and father and beloved husband Stanley P. Wolfe, along with three brothers, Ed, Tom and Art Fowler. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Lori Wolfe-Beyor and her granddaughter, Ashlee Beyor, who was the light of her life. She also leaves behind her ever constant K-9 companion, Tippy.

She is also survived by siblings, one brother, Floyd (Sharon) Fowler of Danville, KY; one sister Maggie Curbelo of Grand Cayman and well as many nieces and nephews.
