Ursula Haller
COSHOCTON: Ursula "Ulla" Haller, 87, of Coshocton joined her beloved husband C. Fred Haller at 5:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Windsorwood Place in Coshocton.
Born April 3, 1925 in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Willi and Margarethe (Kunsch) Reichardt.
She attended school in Berlin, Germany graduating in 1939. Following World War II she met and married her husband Sergeant First Class C. Fred Haller who was stationed in Berlin, Germany. Ursula was a sales clerk at the former J. C. Penney store in Coshocton for 21 years before retiring in April, 1987.
Ulla enjoyed the outdoors and nature immensely and considered the earth environment her spiritual beacon. She spent her youth in rural Germany and gained an appreciation of plants, trees and animals through her father's love of working with natural wood. When she came to America in 1948, that emotional foundation evolved into a wonderful life in Coshocton for over 65 years, first at Roscoe Basin and then on Route 83 by Mill Creek where she raised and nurtured her family. Her later years were spent in town.
Loving family members include her son Cliff (Huddy) Haller of Springfield, Virginia; granddaughter Kathy (Frank) Soronellas of Lutz, Florida; two great-grandsons; brother Pete (Heidi) Reichardt of Coshocton; two nieces; step-grandson Jake (Amanda) Olcott of Washington D.C.; and a step-great-granddaughter.
Calling hours will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M., Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton. A Remembrance of Her Life will be shared at 10:00 A.M., Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Free Funeral Home with interment to follow at Canal Lewisville Cemetery.
Memoriums may be made to Windsorwood Place, 255 Brown's Lane, Coshocton or Hospice of Coshocton County, P. O. Box 1284, Coshocton, OH 43812. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

Pete, I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. I spent a lot of my growing up years down at Lena's house talking to her, Leroy, Ulla and Fred. She was a wonderful lady who I have remembered fondly through the years.

Ula was a part of JC Penney family since I was a very small child. Can't believe she is gone. My sympathy for the loss, but also my respect for a full life, well lived.
