COSHOCTON: Eugene C. Zinkon, 78, of Coshocton, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his residence.

He was born Friday, March 22, 1935 in Bakersville to the late Lester and Mary 'Miller' Zinkon.

He was an Army veteran serving from 1957 until 1959 in Germany with the 3rd Division.

He was previously employed at Wentz Concrete for 34 Years, and worked at Stocker Concrete from 1989 to 2000. He was a Life member and past President of the Newcomerstown Trap Club, Member of the former VFW 1330 of Coshocton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, Nasser and was an avid fan of all the Ohio Sport teams.

On Saturday August 10, 1957 he married Betty M. 'Snyder' Zinkon who survives. He is also survived by two sisters, Virginia L (James) Guthrie and Cindy (Harold) Spang all of Coshocton; one brother, Paul (Linda) Zinkon of Bakersville; special niece and nephew, Jackie (Larry) Domer and Jamie (Becky) Wilden; and several other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Day and Janice Wilden.

Services will be Friday, September 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Addy Funeral Home, with Pastor C. E. "Sonny" Easterday officiating. Burial will be in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, September 27, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Addy Funeral Home. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Newcomerstown Veterans Honor Guard.
