Lewis J. "Louie" Lahna

COSHOCTON: Lewis J. "Louie" Lahna, 64, of Coshocton passed away at his residence on Tuesday January 8, 2013. Louie was born to Richard and Donna (Wilden) Lahna in Coshocton on June 28, 1948.

He was a farmer all of his life and retired from American Electric Power, Conesville Plant after 44 years of service. He enjoyed his family farm, hunting, laughing with friends and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Louie is survived by his wife Linda L. (Hayhurst) Lahna; mother Donna Lahna of Plainfield; children Lisa (Tom) Keller of Centreville, VA, Lewis R. "Jake" (Stacie) Lahna of Coshocton, Kristina Wood of Hilliard, OH and Traci Lahna of Centreville, VA; step-children Douglas Wolfe of Conesville, Deidre King of West Chester, OH and Darren Wolfe of New Concord; 14 grandchildren; two brothers George (Regina) Lahna and Jonathan (Bev) Lahna both of Bakersville; six sisters Joyce Bordenkircher of Coshocton, Cecelia (Jack) Chapman of Canton, Mary (Cliff) Carnes of Coshocton, Karen (Kenny) Patterson of West Lafayette, Johanna (Dan) Mizer of Fresno and Marsha (Chuck) Mourer of Coshocton; numerous neices and nephews. Louie is preceded in death by his father Richard Lahna; brother Carlos Lahna; son-in-law William Nolan and infant granddaughter Austin Noel.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday January 13, 2013 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday at 10:30 AM with Father Bill Hritsko officiating. Per Louie's wishes, a cremation will take place after the mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Lady of Lourdes Cemetery Fund and/or Health Services of Coshocton County "Hospice", envelopes will be available at the funeral home. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com .
