Wilma Jean Bennett
Coshocton - Wilma Jean Bennett, 86, of Coshocton went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday September 15, 2018.
Wilma was born in Harlan, KY on March 1, 1932 to the late Roscoe L. and Rosa (Farmer) Davis.
She had retired from Shaw Barton in Coshocton after 25 years of service.
Wilma was a member of Victory Baptist Church where she participated in the "Splashes of Joy" small group where she also volunteered in many areas; was a past treasurer of the Union at Shaw Barton, treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to read her Bible, cooking food for her family and crocheting.
Wilma is survived by her two children Debbie (Ron) Brown and Sam (Debbie) Bennett both of Coshocton; grandchildren Ronnie (Michelle) Brown, Darcy (Jayson) Brickles, Joanie and Sammy Bennett; great grandchildren Ethen, Ellivea, Brayden, Bryson and Brody; two sisters Ann (Gene) Martin of Harlan Co., KY and Sylvia Green of Scottsburg, IN; numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Arthur S. Bennett Sr.; significant other George Holdsworth; daughter in law Jean Ann Bennett; sisters Irene Lundy and Pauline Carter; brothers Burt, Butch and Jack Davis.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday September 19, 2018 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Funeral services for Wilma will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday with Pastor Ralph Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Victory Baptist Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Wilma's family would like to thank Tim Holdsworth for being a great neighbor to Wilma for so many years and Debbie Moore for all her help at the Beauty Shop.
