Sandra Lee Barstow

FRESNO: Sandra Lee Barstow, 70, of Fresno, Ohio, went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 2, 2011. She passed away at her residence with her family by her side.

Sandra was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on May 30, 1941, the daughter of Frances L. (Warne) Carpenter of Coshocton, Ohio, and the late Grover L. Carpenter. She graduated from Coshocton High School in 1959, and worked at several businesses in Coshocton and retired from Century National Bank. She was a member of New Life Ministries, and her love of the Lord was evident in her singing, and the way she touched people's lives. Sandra also enjoyed sewing, canning, and being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Barstow of Fresno, Ohio; and her children, Tony (Kathy) Clark of Coshocton and his children, Josh and Kara; Stuart (Judy) Clark of Elida, Ohio, and his children, Tiffanie, Stuart, Jennifer, and Jessica; Shara (Rich) Prindle of Coshocton, Ohio, and her daughter, Tori; Darrell Clark and his children, Samantha and Oriana; Kayleen (John) Blackstone of Fresno, Ohio, and her children, Drew, and Makayla; Karla (Donnie) Dawson of Coshocton, Ohio, and her children, Karlee and Tommy; JaiKai Watson of Massillon, Ohio, and her son, Justin; Sandra is also survived by her nine great grandchildren; her sister, Martie Carpenter of Coshocton, and her daughter, Renee (Larry) Erman; and two great nieces. Three infant children, and one grandson went to be with the Lord before her.

Per her wishes, cremation will take place, and a memorial service will be held on Monday December 5, 2011, at New Life Ministries, 727 S. 7th St. Coshocton, Ohio, at 5:00pm with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.

The family will greet friends and neighbors at the church one hour prior to the service.
