Thomas Cullison Obituary
WARSAW: Thomas Lowell Cullison, 70, of TR 8, went to be with the Lord as he was surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday Aug. 20, 2013 at his residence.
He was born March 28, 1943 in Coshocton to Norman Taylor and June Elizabeth (Funk) Cullison.
He was a 1961 graduate of Warsaw High School. He entered the US Navy on January 23, 1962, and served until his honorable discharge on May 23, 1966. He was a roll grinder at AK Steel for 17 years, and volunteered at the Salvation Army, the New Life Ministries Food Pantry, and was a former Coshocton Co. Fair Board member. He was an Elder at New Beginnings Ministries in Warsaw, and was involved in and enjoyed many church activities and missions. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren, farming and mowing grass and wood-working.
Tom was such an inspiration to family, friends, and many cancer survivors. He loved the Triune God, and wanted to be a faithful servant. After his first diagnosis of cancer, he felt his personal scripture was Philippians 1:21, "To live is Christ, to die is gain."
He is survived by his mother, June E. Cullison of Warsaw; his loving wife of 49 years, Linda C. (Smith) Cullison of Warsaw, whom he married February 15, 1964; four sons, Joe (Gina) Cullison of Warsaw, John (Carla) Cullison of Warsaw, Glenn (Gloria) Cullison of Warsaw, and Chris (fiancé Elisabete De Sousa) Cullison of Columbus; nine grandchildren, Angela (Shane) Fortune, Tony White, and Tommy, Cassandra, Daniel, Grant, Matthew, Grace and William Cullison; two brothers, Larry (Carol) Cullison and Rick (Sherry) Cullison, both of Warsaw; sister, Mary (Ken) Morrow of New Lebanon; several nieces, nephews and two brothers-in-law, Glenn (Rene) Smith of Green River, AZ and Hugh (Glenda) Smith of Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Cullison; father-in-law, Kenneth Smith; and mother-in-law, Imogene Hacker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 24, 2013 at New Beginnings Ministries in Warsaw with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the church from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday August 23rd and one hour prior to service time Saturday.

To the Cullison family: So sorry to hear about Tom. He was such a nice guy with such a sweet spirit. Chuck thought alot of Tom, as they worked together down at AK Steel for many years. May the Lord give you peace and comfort during the days ahead. I know that Tom is enjoying heaven today and free of pain. He will be missed!

The Cullison family : Tom and I were school boy friends. When ever I would see Tom he always brought to my memory his sense of humor. Although your gone many people will miss that sense of humor.
