Paul was a Christian man that loved the Lord. He walked with him daily in prayer and leaned on him and trusted him for all things. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him but we remain in peace knowing that he is in his eternal home experiencing the Glory of God and heaven this very moment and we will once again be reunited with him. He was a beloved brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Paul chose to be cremated. So there will be no funeral following the church service. Paul was my mother Hertha Muhlrad Haas' first cousin who was and our family loved him very much. He brought lovely token gifts to his younger second cousins each time he visited from his travels through the army. I had a huge crush on my handsome cousin when I was a young teenager and I was fortunate to maintain a long distance loving relationship with him over these many years. We had a most wonderful in person reunion about four years ago when he was able to see my mother again for what would be the last time sadly. She will miss his presence in her life greatly, a fact that we will try to withhold from her as long as possible as she is nearing 95. I will miss many things about my dear cousin Paul, not the least of which was his voice which so much reminded me of his father my beloved Uncle Lee and my grandfather his beloved Uncle Paul. Mine and my family's deepest love and sympathy are sent to all of Paul's loved ones, especially to his first family whom we know from years gone by. Though we haven't seen some of you in a long time you are always in our hearts!
