Alan Rex Schultz, 75, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Mr. Schultz was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 24, 1939 to Marvin Dorr Schultz and Marion Carolyn Schultz. Alan went to classes at the College of the Mainland, while he was working as an electrician in the chemical refineries. Mr. Schultz was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers Union Local #527.

Alan married Betty Louise Collier on April 2, 1967 in LaMarque, Texas at Pauls Union Church. Alan was a Master Electrician, and in 1980 he moved to Montgomery County, Texas where he started his own Air-Conditioning & Heating Company, and he has been in business for over 33 years.

Mr. Schultz is survived by his wife Betty L. Schultz, and two brothers, John and Roger. He is also survived by 3 sons, Jeffry Alan Schultz, Mark Wayne Schultz, and Alan Rex Schultz II; 1 daughter, Robin Lynne McCain; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; six grandchildren: James, Austin, Kyle, Kristen, Corey, and Jaimie; and numerous relatives and friends.

A Memorial Funeral Service is being held at 10:00 am on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, 460 Fisher St., New Waverly, Tx. 77358, with Pastor John D. Andrews officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Ministry.
