Alice G. Flores, long time Montgomery business owner, passed away on Monday November 23rd at Strake Place Assisted Living in Conroe Texas.

Born in 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Santiago and Delfina Gonzales; she was the second oldest of 9 children. She lived in Chicago in the 60's and 70's in a successful real estate career. In 1984 she and her two daughters moved to April Sound. In 1988 she married Adam Flores Jr and later moved to Grimes County. In the 1990's they started a business, Flores Produce and Nursery on Highway 105 in Montgomery, Texas. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her husband Adam Flores Jr., older sister, Mary Louise Diaz, younger brother Rudy Gonzales and grandson David Arthur. She is survived by her two daughters, Catherine Arthur, son-in-law Vaughn Arthur and grandson Brian Arthur, all who reside in Laurel, Maryland; Michelle Johnson, son-in-law Matt Johnson, granddaughter Leanne and grandson Keith, all who reside in Montgomery, Texas, and sister Ruth Ashe of Navasota, Texas.

In San Antonio she leaves behind brother Jimmy Gonzales, sister-in-law Annie, niece Jaclynn, brother Richard Gonzales, nephews Rick, Christopher, Paul and niece Sandra; sister, Norma Carrillo and niece Valerie Longoria; sister, Linda Ramos and nieces Rachel, Roxanne and Ryan; in Florida, brother Henry Gonzales and sister-in-law Alex.

Visitation from 9-10 AM on Monday, November 30th at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 9677 Highway 6, Navasota, Texas 77868, with Mass beginning at 10 AM. Interment at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota.
