Jane McCallister was born on June 5, 1944 in Phoenix, AZ and passed away on August 6, 2015 at home in Montgomery, TX. She was the only child of Helen Earnshaw Whitaker and Lenox "Whit" Whitaker of Phoenix AZ who preceded her in death. She graduated from Central High School and ASU where she graduated with a Nursing degree.

Jane married LTC William F Bryant Jr (Ret) and moved to England where they had two children Lisa Adams Ramirez and William F Bryant III (Bill). She was an active military Air Force wife and traveled all over the world. She was a huge supporter of the POW MIA Association and she was very Patriotic and supported our Military and USO.

She found a second chance at love with James "Jim" McCallister in San Diego, CA who preceded her in death in 2012. She did bookkeeping for the famous Carlsbad Flower Fields for many years. They shared a life of camping in the desert, riding on 4 wheelers and sand rails, and boating at Lake Mead. After Jim's retirement they moved to Missouri, Jim's home state. Several years later they decided to move to Montgomery, Texas on Lake Conroe.

Jane was always a generous woman with a loving heart. She loved her three cats Suki, Sedona, and Rambo. After Jim received his wings, her three babies are what kept her going, along with the pride of her great grandson Hagan, who he called her Gigi. She loved to visit Lisa's house for BBQ and watch Football. She will always be a San Diego Charger fan at heart, but Lisa converted her to a Houston Texan Fan. Jane was a loving mother and grandmother and will be very missed. Knowing she is reunited with Jim and her parents gives the family comfort, and celebration of a new life with wings, and until we all meet again.

Jane is survived by her daughter Lisa Marie and her husband Tony Ramirez, granddaughter Cassandra Adams and great grandson Hagan and step granddaughter Ericca Ramirez, and great grandsons, Christian and Elijah of Conroe, Texas. Her son Bill and his wife Nicole Bryant, granddaughters Faith and Hannah of Fallbrook, CA. She is also survived by her stepsons Vergal and Kenny McCallister. She is also survived by her closest cousins Bill Whitaker, Joe, Bob, and John Earnshaw.

Jane had many friends and neighbors who looked after her and the family is forever grateful. The family is indebted to Dr. Chilek and her assistant Joanne, for taking such good care of Jane and Jim. Jane will be cremated and will return home to her parents at St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ at a later time.
