The Guest Book is expired.

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:1 - Alie Fagan,75, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, died in an auto accident on Monday, November 16, 2015.

Alie was born on July 9, 1940 in Houston, Texas, to Alaric and Marie (Gre-million) Bonnette. She was raised in Houston, TX with her younger siblings; sister, Dianne Bonnette-Morris; and brothers, Jean & Chris Bonnette. She graduated 1959 from Marian High School, Bellaire, TX. Alie moved to Conroe, TX in 1971. In 1993 she became an Austin resident for nearly 15 years before retirement in Ajijic, Mexico.

Alie was passionate about painting, gardening, showing off her eclectic decorating flare, lots of laughter with friends, and serving anyone in need. She was very involved at Austin Christian Fellowship as a Bible study leader, serving in various ministries and was there most Sundays ready to pray with anyone who asked. She loved to share with everyone who would listen about her Savior, Jesus and how He had been her strength since being born again in His Spirit in 1974.

Alie cared deeply for her family and was a prayer warrior for them, for friends, and acquaintances alike. She continued serving at Lake Chapala Baptist Church and Hope House boys' home in Jalisco, Mexico. Love for Christ and consideration for others before her own needs was the hallmark of this beautiful soul.

She is survived by her husband Emmitt Franklin Fagan, of 42 years of marriage, her youngest brother Chris, her three children, three step children, one foster daughter, ten grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Alie's family invites all friends and family to a Celebration of Life event in Alie's honor to be held in Austin, TX on Saturday, February 13th from 11:30 - 3:00pm. For memorial details, please contact us: [email protected]
