Anna Katherine "Kay" Wright, 82, of Conroe, Texas passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at Woodland Manor Nursing Home in Conroe.

Kay was born on April 16, 1934 to Bertrum and Henrietta Affleck in Ellsworth, Pennsylvania.

Kay married the Love of her life, Robert "Bob" Clayton Wright, in February of 1955 and they had two children, Bobby and Susan.

In 1967 Kay and Bob moved to Texas, where they lived the rest of their lives.

Kay worked for Weiner's Stores, Montgomery County Hospital, and Walmart Pharmacy. Throughout her life she met so many people and was a friend to all she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Wright, her parents, and several brothers and sisters.

Kay is survived by, son Robert "Bobby" Wright and wife Marilyn of Alvin, daughter, Susan Hogue and husband Greg of Conroe, two grandchildren Tara Doss and husband Travis of Conroe, Travis Hogue and wife Kelsey of Conroe, great grand children, Taylin and Tanner Doss and Asher Hogue of Conroe, sisters, Henrietta Pence of Grand Prarie, Janice Shriner of Virginia, sister in law, Elaine Manning and husband Larry of Washington, Pennsylvania and numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

In death as in life Kay wanted to help others. It was Kay's wish to donate her body to Baylor College of Medicine, in order to help further physician research and educate students.
