Funeral Services for Anthony D. Demopolis, 49, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Conroe, will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Pastor Darrel Schiel officiating. Interment will follow in Willis Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Demopolis was born on November 13, 1963 in Houston, TX to Zelda and Bill Demopolis and passed away peacefully on November 4, 2012 in Shenandoah, TX. One of the loves of Tonys' life was building his Racecar, racing it and winning at 105 Speedway and Battleground Race Tracks. He also loved Holiday dinners with family, especially the time he spent his mom. Tony battled many health problems for many years. He put up a great fight. Our son, brother, husband, father, uncle, cousin and friend will be missed so very much.

Tony was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jewel Richards; father, Bill Demopolis, grandmother, Lillie Odom; grandfather, William Reynolds; uncles, David Reynolds and Alvis Reynolds; niece, Tari Henderson; cousin, Kim Reynolds and his beloved dog, Boy.

He is survived by his loving family: mother, Zelda Henderson; wife, Laurie Crawford, sons, Kevin and Jesse Crawford; brothers, Don Henderson and wife, Nora and Tommy Henderson and wife, Marilyn; sisters, Gail Cooper and husband, Larry, Nancy Zimmerman and husband, Mike, Athena Demopolis and husband, Randy; Dana Demopolis and Sharla Payne and husband, Ken; mother-in-law, Brenda Gray; special uncle and aunt, Jim and Linda Reynolds; best friend, Shane Morgan; many other dear relatives and a host of caring friends also survive.

Pallbearers: Gary Cooper, Timothy Koczera, Hunter Smith, Bruce Johnson, Tom Henderson, Les Henderson, Kevin Crawford and Ken Payne, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers: Jesse Crawford, Shane Morgan, Steven Logsdon, Quentin Allen and Steven York.
