April Ann Ulrich at the tender age of 19, passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 26, 2014 surrounded by her loving mother and father. She was born March 15, 1995 in Libertyville, IL to Josette and Douglas Tharp. April was a devoted member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Richards, TX, where she was baptized. April was precious gem and a beautiful treasure to many people. She touched so many people's lives in her short years. April was wise beyond her years and through many tragedies in her own life, she choose to take those hard times and make her life positive and try to show others that regardless of what you might be dealing with, be optimistic; positive and to live life full of happiness. Many people saw how April lived, full of life and bubbly, they began to become more optimistic instead of negative about life. April volunteered wherever she could no matter where or when. She wanted others to learn that even with hardship, life can be joyous. April is preceded in death by her loving great grandmother, Elsie Ida Funk- Shine.
