Arthur (Jimmy) Gilbert Stagg Sr. was born on April 27, 1947 in Conroe, Texas to Gilbert Stagg and Zena Stagg and entered into eternal rest with the Lord on February 16, 2018 in Willis, Texas. He grew up in the Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout. His father Gilbert Stagg was his troop leader at troop 350. As Jimmy got older he helped his father and mother in the family business in Conroe, Texas, which was Stagg Body Shop on South Frazier. That's where the love and passion for restoring and painting old cars came about. He also helped running the EMS services in Montgomery County. Majority of the time you would find him in a tow truck, which he liked doing and became his lifelong job. You'd have a hard time keeping him from dragging all the old Studebaker cars home with him. Everyone will cherish the memoires of him. We love you Pap and Pawpaw, Ole Polar Bear. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Stagg and mother, Zena Stagg and brother, Dean Stagg. He is survived by his sister, Lorna Brown and husband Willie, sons, Arthur (ARDY) Gilbert Stagg Jr., Anthony Glen Stagg, Conley Fay Stagg, Michael Joe Stagg and wife Kendra, daughter, Stacy Renae Stagg McBane, grandchildren, Kayla Stagg, Katie Anne Stagg, Emilie Mae Stagg, Michael Joe Stagg Jr., Cheyenne Neal, Sierra Neal, Blake Hight, Levi Stagg, Jacob Gressett, Caleb Gressett, Autumn McBane, nieces and nephews, Rosezena Davis and husband Ricky, Kaylyn Davis and Jeremy Dean Stagg and wife Angela and longtime friends, Johnny Adamick, Grizzly, Terry King and Johnny Adamick Jr. Numerous other relatives and host of friends also survive. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Bob Seal officiating. Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
