Funeral services for Artist Albert Watson, Jr will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 3:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with John Hilbig officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Artist was born February 2, 1942 in Zavalla, Texas to Artist and Stella Watson and passed away September 20, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. He served our country in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964 and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. He loved bass fishing, and his church, where he was an active member at Longmire Rd Church of Christ. Artist was a very loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed dearly. Artist is preceded in death by his parents, Artist and Stella Watson; brothers, Amos David (Cooter) Watson and by his sister, Mary Ann Bertrand. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Ann Janowski Watson; children, Carrie Janice (C.J.) Sheppler and husband Tom and Mickey Charles Watson and wife Linda; grandchildren, Cory Dennis Szabo, Joseph Riley Sheppler, Devlin Thomas Sheppler, Patrick Dickey, Payton Ann Watson and Parker Marie Watson; brother, William Thomas (Jake) Watson and wife Eva. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
