Arvalene Keith Cayton (81), passed away on May 1st, 2014 at her home in Conroe, TX, with her husband and daughters at her side. Arvalene was born November 20th, 1932 in Roanoke, West Virginia. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lloyd; her sister Anna Jean Allman of Charleston, WV; her two daughters and their spouses, Debbie and Jim Sperrazza of The Woodlands, TX; Lorinda and Joe Payne of Eustis, FL; her seven grandchildren, Dominic Sperrazza; Nick Sperrazza; Joshua Jones; Max Payne, Jr.; Danielle Jacobus; Ashley Cayton Beaver; and Jordan Cayton Lingenselter; and six great-grandchildren, Jacob Jones; Jeremy Jones; Olivia Jones; Max Elisabeth Payne; John Wesley Beaver; and Caytlyn Lingenselter. Arvalene was preceded in death by her son Richard (Rick) Cayton of Cordele, GA. While Arvalene's time on Earth may be over, her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her. A loving, gentle, and giving wife, mother, and grandmother who never ceased to put the needs of others over her own, she leaves behind family and friends whose lives are forever brightened by their time with her. She will be missed. Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, May 5th, at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX. Service will immediately follow at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial gifts in Arvalene's name may do so to the or the Rick Cayton Memorial Scholarship Fund at Crisp County, Cordele, GA.
