Augustina Mary Lou Hernandez was born August 28, 1924 in Ellinwood, Kansas and passed away September 4, 2014 in Montgomery, Texas at the age of 90. She and her husband owned and operated Hernandez Radiator for around 50 years. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, and any of her childrens friends that were around. She was a devout Catholic and was involved many years with the Catholic Daughters and St. Vincent DePaul. One of her favorite hobbies was her gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents Santos and Maria Sanchez Amador, husband Longino Hernandez, sisters Helen "Nelly" Amador and Margaret Falcon, and by her brother John Amador. She is survived by her sons; Daniel Ray Hernandez and his wife Dianna of Spring, Texas, John Joe Hernandez, Longino "Lonnie" A. Hernandez Jr. and his wife Tammy of Montgomery, Texas, two brothers Ralph Amador and his wife Janette and Raymond Amador and his wife Liz, five grandchildren; Rachel L. Esquibel and her husband Adam, Tiffany M. Mullen and her husband Brandon, Anthony Hernandez, Kayla Hanson, and Sophia Hernandez, four great grandchildren; Olivia Mullen, Elena Esquibel, Joaquin Esquibel, and Chloe Mullen. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 5-7pm with a Rosary Service beginning at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 10am with Father Joseph Manapuram presiding. Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Jackson, Scott Stephens, Randy Stephens, Charles Brown, David Wong, and Dan Stouffer. Visit our website at www.cashnerconroe.com to leave condolences to the family.
