Barry Roger Stephenson Sr passed away October 17, 2017 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 75.

Barry is survived by brother Dennis Stephenson, Alice Stephenson, daughter Gayle Milam, granddaughter Kristyn McNeely, her husband Ryan McNeely, great grandson Coen McNeely, grandson Grant Milam, son Roger Stephenson Jr, daughter-in-law Cassie Bennett, granddaughter Victoria Sliger, granddaughter Stephanie Stephenson, granddaughter Samantha Stephenson, grandson Seth Stephenson, grandson Christopher Stephenson, daughter Priscilla Stephenson, daughter-in-law Lisa Stephenson, granddaughter Janna Stephenson, son Clint Stephenson, daughter-in-law Lisa Stephenson, son Clifford Stephenson, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Stephenson, grandson Sebastian Stephenson, granddaughter Grace Stephenson, grandson Luke Stephenson, grandson Maximilian Stephenson, granddaughter Lucy Stephenson, daughter Katherine Stephenson, daughter-in-law Jennifer Clepper, granddaughter Olivia Stephenson, and granddaughter Madelyn Stephenson.

Barry joins his father Ray Eli (RE) Stephenson, mother Anna Barbera Stephenson, stepmother Joan Stephenson, and brother Ronald Stephenson.

Barry was born in Galveston, Texas. He spent his life working primarily as a surveyor to provide for his family. He worshipped in the Lutheran Church. He enjoyed blackjack, boating, working out, and the 1994 and 1995 World Champion Houston Rockets.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 20 from 6-8 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 21 at 10 AM in the Chapel at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, with burial at a later time that day at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.

A family and friends gathering will be held after the burial service at 14024 Walding Woods Dr., Montgomery, Texas. All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the MD Cancer Center of Houston.
