Bernardine Ann Hyman, 78, of New Waverly, Texas passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at Park Manor in Conroe, Texas.

Bernardine was born October 21, 1935 in New Waverly. She was the older of two children and only daughter of Pete Snoe and Teckla Kuciemba Snoe.

Bernardine is survived by her daughter, Mary Hay; son-in-law, Jim Hay; granddaughter, Makayla Hay; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Mary Elizabeth Snoe; sister-in-law, Dorothy Decker; sister-in-law, Stella Pasket, all of New Waverly, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends including her companion of many years, William Kilgore.

Bernardine was a life-long resident of New Waverly and a life-long member of St Joseph's Catholic Church. Bernardine married Andrew Hyman on October 24, 1959. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, who passed from this world on September 10, 1988 and her parents, Pete and Teckla Snoe.

Bernardine was a loving homemaker, mother and grandmother who possessed a soft voice and a big heart. Bernardine loved gardening, canning and collecting cookbooks. She also loved to go out to eat, go to church and take care of her family, especially her beautiful granddaughter, Makayla.

Visitation was held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas from 5-7 pm followed by a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11am at St Joseph's Catholic Church in New Waverly.
