Bertha Mae Burson received her wings on July 8, 2017 in Conroe, TX while surrounded by family and was reunited with the love of her life, Harold Lee Burson Sr. along with all of her children, Wendy Snipes, Michael Brown, Glenda Diane Cox, Harold Burson Jr., and Connie Davis.

Bertha was born to George & Mae Stowe on September 15, 1938 in a Willis TX. Through cooking, gardening, feeding & flourishing Bertha created a beautiful life with strong roots for friends & family.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa and fiancée Barry, her son, Mike Davis, her brother, Buddy and Pat Stowe and her sister Lynn and John Hastings, as well as her beloved grandchildren: Angela Nabors, Shannon Petillon, Heather Smallwood, Chris Cox, Candace Boggs, Michael Brown, Dwayne Acree Jr., Spring, Kasi and Zachary Davis, Desteney, Megan and Eric Burson and many great and great great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Known as "Granny" to many, we invite you to celebrate her life on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with the Rev. Ray Hyden officiating. Interment will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM (two hours prior) to the service in The Chapel.
