Beryl Levering Mitchell passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning in Conroe, 4Texas. He is survived by four sons and their wives, thirteen grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife Marjorie and his sister Rosemary.

Born in Hinton, Oklahoma on September 26, 1925, he grew up traveling, and following the railroad work with his father. At the age of 17, he married Marjorie Jane McCoy on January 23,1943. They lived happily together for 69 years. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on November 11, 1943 and served in the Pacific (Hawaiian Islands) for the duration.

Beryl was a man of God who read his bible daily. He was a hard working man who put his considerable talents toward many endeavors from being a Marine in WWII to founding the first mobile crane service in Houston. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sailing and working to build his ranch near Camp Wood in west Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 22nd at the New Montgomery Cemetery, Old Plantersville Road and Highway 105 West, Montgomery, Texas.
