Beverly S. Montgomery, age 67, passed quietly at her home and went to be with her Lord on October 26, 2011, after a 10 year inspiring battle with pancreatic cancer. Beverly was born to Foreman and June Crowder on March 9, 1944 in Amarillo, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Katherine Gregg. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Paul R. Montgomery, her cherished children, daughter, Desirae (Kenneth) Gregg and son, Kyle (Lynn) Montgomery. She will be dearly missed by her five grandchildren, Lauren Gregg, Carson Montgomery, Erin Gregg, Ian Gregg, and Kellan Gregg, who were all the greater joys of her life, as well as a host of friends. Beverly attended High School in Olton, TX. She chose the honorable profession of homemaker and devoted her life to raising her family. After living in Lubbock, Levelland and Houston, she and her family moved to the Conroe area in 1976 where she spent the rest of her joyous life and took joy in simple pleasures. After being diagnosed with cancer, Beverly never quit fighting and chose to live her life full of courage and strength and made the decision to live each day as though it were her last. As an inspiration to her family, friends and Doctors, she found comfort and her purpose in helping others as a committed volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital in The Woodlands, Park Manor Nursing Home in Conroe and the 's . In addition to volunteering, Beverly pursued her passions for playing bingo, love of her animals and traveling the country in her RV where she felt drawn to the Northwest Coast and Pacific Ocean. She will live forever in our hearts.
