(27326 Robinson Rd, suite 209-210, The Woodlands, TX 77385) Mr. Brand was born on January 7, 1949 in Muskogee, OK, Seminole County and passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 in Conroe, TX. He was 63 years old. Buddy was preceded in death by his father, James Brand. He is survived by his loving family: mother, Joanne Kaiser Brand; his beloved wife of 44 years, Irma Garcia Brand; daughter, Angelina Lynn Rohling and husband, Bill; son, Christopher John Brand and wife, Bridget; sisters, Connie Cook and husband, Ron and Cathy Brand and husband, David; brothers, Randy Brand, Joe Brand and wife, Brenda and Terry Moss; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Parker, Chloie, Matthew and Corbin; numerous other dear relatives and friends also survive. Buddy grew up in Del City, OK and graduated from Del City High School in 1967. While in High School, he was named Mr. Baseball. He was well known in that area for his left handed pitching abilities. Buddy spent 2 years at Northeastern A&M in Miami, Oklahoma, then eventually became a Del City Firefighter in 1970. He spent 11 years with the fire department. In 1980 he started Brand Oil and Gas and spent the next 25 years successfully "oilfield wildcatting" in Oklahoma. He and Irma were soulmates, so when she suffered a cerebral injury in September of 1995, he, of course, took over as primary caregiver. In July 2012, they both survived a near fatal car accident in Oklahoma, so in August they moved to Conroe to be with their son and his family.
