Billie Jean Farris, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 26, 2014, in Conroe, Texas at the age of 85. She was born on February 21, 1928, in Houston, TX to Charles J. and Mamie Reeves Crow. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and serving her Lord. She was a longtime member of the West Conroe Baptist Church. Mrs. Farris was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Lewis F. Farris. She is survived by her two sons; Scott Farris and his wife Laura of Bel Air, MD and Allen Farris and his wife Rose of Midway, TX; by her three daughters; Cindy Powell and her husband John of Montgomery, TX, Ginger Farris of Ft. Worth, TX, and Janie Sanders and her husband David of Houston, TX, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and by her sister in law, Janie Crow of Crosby, TX. Funeral Service is scheduled for Monday, January 27, 2014, in the Garden Park Mausoleum Chapel at 1:00pm with Dr. Jay Gross as minister. Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery.
