Billy Earl DeLuish of Conroe Texas passed away January 28, 2014. Billy was born to Joseph Alec DeLuish and Lela Pauline Hicks DeLuish September 2, 1938 in Conroe. The family moved to Humble when he was 6 years old. After graduating from Humble High School in 1956, he attended the University of Houston. He worked for Sparkler Filters for 43 years and was Chief of Engineering for approximately 30 years.

Billy loved his Honda Goldwing and after owning and riding three over the years. He once bragged that he rode from Conroe to San Antonio without having to stop for a break. Billy was an avid hunter and loved being in the woods. He hunted from Texas to Colorado for over three decades and has the trophies on the wall to prove it. Billy was also very successful in real estate during the 1980's. He bought and sold properties all around Lake Conroe and Loop 336.

When Billy bought a farm 30 years ago, he began to raise pecan trees, at one time having over 800 trees. He said it was one big, expensive hobby. He could be seen out working at the farm every weekend.

Billy was a member of the Porter Apostolic Pentecostal Church. He was a man of many talents and skills. We will miss him greatly.
