Bobby Leo Budde went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2017. He will be missed more than words could ever express. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and friend and was greatly loved and loved his family and life for 86 years. He was also a member of Mims Baptist Church. Bobby was born on January 28, 1931 to Leo Willis Budde and Margie Jeffcoat Budde. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Benton Willis Budde. Bobby married the love of his life, Mary Sweaks, on August 27, 1949 and together they raised 3 children. Bobby retired from Superior Oil company in 1985 after 34 years of dedicated service. He spent his retired years ranching and farming but mostly piddling at his favorite place. When he wasn't ranching, he and Mary traveled or he was with his family and grandkids, never missing an opportunity to be with them.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Budde. His daughter, Suzanne Self and her husband Mike of Fredericksburg TX. His son, Robert "Bobby" Budde of San Marcos, TX. And his son Jeffrey Budde and wife, Holly of Conroe TX. He is also survived by 6 grandkids, Michael Self and wife Carey ( Leander TX), Ashley Reed and husband Lonnie (Georgetown TX), Matthew Self and wife Kacie (Fredericksburg TX), Tyler Budde (San Marcos TX) , Lindsey and Taylor Budde (Conroe TX). He also has 4 great grandchildren, Callen and Lainey Self (Leander TX ) and Mason and Miles Self (Fredericksburg TX) ; and one niece, Elizabeth Averill (Scotland, UK). Bobby's life will be celebrated in a private family service at his favorite place. In lieu of flowers the family request that you send donations to one of his favorite charities, and/or The Salvation Army in honor of Bobby Leo Budde. Our family wishes to thank Dr. George Boyle and Dr. Glen Berwick along with the nurses and staff of Conroe Regional for their heartfelt care of Bobby over the last several months.
