Bonnie (Bon) Harrellson, age 84 of Montgomery, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2013. There waiting for him was his wife Jean of 60 years. She preceded him in death on January 31, 2011. Together they lived in Mt. Clemens, Michigan until 1984, then retiring to Montgomery, Texas to be near their daughter and her family. Bon was born on August 8, 1928 in Puryear, Tennessee to Fleet Harrellson and Cora E. Wilson Harrellson. He was a twin brother and one of nine children, all who preceded him in death. Bon and his wife have left behind their only child, daughter Sandra Jean Edlund and her husband Clark of Montgomery, Texas. He also left behind his loving grandchildren; Clark Davidson Edlund and his wife Lauren of Houston, Texas, Nicole Jean Edlund Herrera and her partner Monica of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Officer Tonya Shae Edlund of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He loved all of his family dearly. Bon was known for his faithful visits to hospitals and homes of those who were ill or in need. His love to sit and pray with them and to share Gods word. He was a soul who was always willing to help others in anyway he could. His love to tell a joke, or just to make you smile, even to a passing stranger. He will be greatly missed by many. He was a faithful member of the Conroe Bible Church, and loved all his brothers and sisters in Christ just the same. The family will receive friends and visitors at Cashner Funeral Home on Monday July 29, 2013 from 6-8pm. Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday July 30, 2013 at the Conroe Bible Church, 4491 I-45 North in Conroe, Texas, at 10:00am. John Schubert will be the minister and pallbearers will be; Clark Edlund Sr., Clark Edlund, Gale Lee, Jerry Giese, Butch Fowler, and Bill Howard.
