He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Boyd Patrick and Dorothy Brumley Patrick, and brother John Quinton Patrick.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 19 years, Katherine McCourt Patrick of Conroe, Texas; brother Matthew Patrick and wife Beverly Patrick of Dallas, Texas; brother Mark Patrick and wife Margaret (Peg) Patrick of Houston, Texas; sister Kimberly (Patrick) Boetsch and husband Eduardo Boetsch of San Francisco, California; children Dillon Patrick of Huntsville, Texas; Dustin Patrick of New Waverly, Texas; Renee Patrick of Houston, Texas; Stephanie Potts of Conroe, Texas; Nicole Potts of Tomball, Texas; Renee Rorer of New Caney, Texas; Shannon Phillips of New Caney, Texas; Misty Rorer of Flosmoor, Illinois; grandchildren J.C, Anthony, Jessalyn, Joey, Eric, Nico, Zachary, Mercedes, Madison, Nicholas and Micheal; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
