Funeral services for Buddy Leonard Hulsman D.O. will be held Friday, January 6, 2012 at 3:00 pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Brother Gene Kendrick and Brother John Chastain officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Burial will follow at a later date in Houston National Cemetery. Buddy was born February 11, 1934 in Carthage, Missouri to Henry and Opal Hulsman and entered into eternal rest on January 1, 2012 in The Woodlands, Texas. Buddy had numerous hobbies; among them, owning and restoring antique cars, golfing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Buddy served our country in the U.S Army as a Private First Class. Buddy graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, OK in 1952 and obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tulsa in 1966. Buddy received his D.O. Degree from Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1970. Buddy was a member of Mims Baptist Church. He served as President of Parsons Chapter of Lions Club International from 1977-1978. Buddy practiced family medicine until June 30, 2003. Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Darlene Hulsman of Conroe; daughter, Leanne Smith of Montgomery; son, Robert Hulsman of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Carlee and Kaely Smith.
