Visitation for Butch Louis Carson will be held Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Conroe Funeral Directors, 1504 N. Thompson St., Conroe, TX 77301. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 am in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Pastor Jim Moore officiating.

Butch Louis Carson was born on August 13, 1956 in Savannah Georgia and passed away on March 25, 2016 at his home in Montgomery Tx at the age of 59 where he lost his short but hard fight with Pancreatic cancer. He is preceded in death by his oldest son, Nathan Wayne Carson.

Butch is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Catherine Carson. Son and Daughter-in-law, Scott and Sara Carson; Daughter and her boyfriend, Stephanie Carson and Russell Haynes; Sister, Cindy Williams; Sister and Brother-in-law, Melody and Mike Kryenbuhl; Sisters-in-law, Donna Murdock and Marie Axley; Mother-in-law, Martha Murdock; Two grandsons, Connor and Caleb Carson; Nephew, Josh Murdock; Niece, Adrianne Hayden; numerous of other relatives and friends.

Butch and his sisters' were raised in Coldspring Tx and he graduated from Coldspring High School in 1975. He met his bride as a teenager at Wolf Creek Park where he worked during the summer under the nickname of "Buger".

Butch enjoyed working with his hands and made it a life-long career as a welder/fabricator. Much of his career was spent at Hoffland Environmental Inc where he held various positions in the shop including foreman.

Some of his favorite pastimes included "people watching", playing "mash butt" in his favorite chair watching TV, tinkering around in the "Old Man's Garage" at his home and feeding the wild birds and squirrels in his yard; one of which he named "Jenny" and could feed from the palm of his hand.

The family will be receiving friends for a celebration of life reception on Saturday, April 2nd immediately following the services at Butch's son's house.

Due to him not being placed at a gravesite, the family requests in lieu of flowers that donations to be made of your choosing.
