Carolyn Farmer was born December 23, 1919 in Rising Star, Texas and passed away February 12, 2015 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 95. Carolyn was a Methodist her entire life, and her father was a Methodist minister. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur B. and Laura Livingston Armstrong, husband Seth Farmer, and brothers William "Bill" Armstrong and Jeff Armstrong. Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Duke and husband Glenn of Cleveland, Texas and Kay Stephens and husband Mickey of Willis, Texas, son Gene Kribbs and wife Jan of Bacliff, Texas, step son David Farmer and wife Dianne of Brownwood, Texas, step daughter Margaret "Prissy" Cloud and husband Tommy of Brownwood, Texas, 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and close friends. Visitation will be Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Conroe, Texas at 11:30AM with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 noon in the Faith Chapel with Rev. Mary Tumulty ministering. A reception will follow at the Carriage Inn 750 Longmire Rd. Conroe, Texas 77304. Burial will be Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early, Texas at 1:00pm.
