Memorial services to celebrate the life of Charles Julius Larson, 91, of New Waverly, Texas will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Charles was born August 2, 1920 in Houston, Texas to Edward E and Johnnie M. Larson and received his crown in Heaven on May 5, 2012. Charles proudly and honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy. He was a veteran of World War II and of the Korean War. He loved listening to music and gardening and spending time with his family. Charles was reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Betty Jane Larson; by his sister and two brothers and one half-brother. Charles' memories will be forever cherished by his children, Wayne Larson, Bruce Larson and wife Brenda and Joe Larson and wife Becky; grandchildren, Nikki, Jeff and his wife Kahla, and Chad Larson and by his step-grandchildren, Rusty Martin, Alice Lawrence and Christian Waldo; great grandchildren, Chase and Emery Larson.
