Charles Michael Bleike, 64, died on January 22, 2015, at home surrounded by his family. Mike was born in Houston on December 19, 1950 to "C.B." and Alice Bleike. He graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas in 1969. Mike was a founding member of the band "The Dimensions," "The Sound Investment," and "Blackie and the Bullets." Mike began his airline career as an aircraft router with Texas International and retired after 38 years with Continental/United Airlines as Senior Director of System Operations Control Center in Houston. He loved playing guitar and keyboards, recording music and playing golf with friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles Bouthery Bleike and Alice Mae (Robberts) Bleike. Mike was a loving husband to Wendy Bleike, his wife of 23 years. He also is survived by his sister Donna and brother-in-law Ray Priest. Together with Brenda (Tolbert) Greer, he was the proud parent of three wonderful children: Marcia Webster and son-in-law David Webster, Angie McDonald, and son, Michael "Shannon" Bleike. He adored his grandchildren: Jake, Shannon, Ben, Hannah, Sam, Ryan and Chase. A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Tomball, 30410 Tomball Parkway, Tomball, Texas on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Mike's name to FPC-Building Fund or Abandoned Animal Rescue, 419 E. Hufsmith Rd., Tomball, Texas 77375.
