Charlie Pavlock, 94, of New Waverly, Texas, passed away peacefully in The Woodlands, Texas on Monday, June 9. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 94 years. He loved his church and family and was a servant of the Lord in many ways. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Magdalen (Malak) Pavlock; parents John and Marcella Pavlock; and sisters, Mary, Theresa and Cecilia. Survivors include his daughter, Charlene Pierce and husband Rayford of Houston; granddaughter Tammy Birdsong and husband George of Arp; great-grandchildren Jacob Birdsong, Colton Birdsong, and Madelyn Birdsong of Arp; sisters Pauline Smith of Houston, Lucille Isam of Magnolia, Anna Ballard of Joaquin, and Thelma Leuck of Dallas; brother Louis Pavlock of Willis; special niece Frances Vernarske of New Waverly; brother-in-law Jay Ballard of Joaquin; and many other nieces, nephews and other family.

Visitation with the family is scheduled for Thursday, June 12 from 6-9 PM with a Rosary at 7:30 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery, TX. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 13 at 3 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Waverly, TX, with burial following services at Elmina Cemetery in New Waverly. Pallbearers will be Allan Pawalowski, Curtis Pawalowski, Kervin Buckner, Christopher Winkelmann, Carlos Winkelmann, and Gerald Kuzniarek.
