On Tuesday, October 20, 2015 another angel officially received her wings. Christie Locke Christopher was born in Houston, Texas on May 22, 1958. Christie graduated from Stratford High School in 1976. She was a Spartanaire in the original Drill Team and sang in the school choir. She attended Stephen F. Austin University.

A passionate business owner, a loving family member, she was a best friend to all. Christie had a smile that lit up the room, never missing a photo opportunity. She graciously spread her warmth and a feeling of belonging into each life that she touched. Christie had a special gift of bringing out the beauty in everyone and everything. With ease she comforted any person, stranger or friend, wherever she wandered. Her big heart and beauty, both inside and out, will forever be missed.

Christie is survived by husband, Al Christopher; daughters Allie Christopher and Anna Christopher; mother Florence Locke; aunts, Mrs. Jeanne Johnson, Mrs. Marilyn Moench, Mrs. Elba Lawson and Mrs. Dee Goff, uncle, Don Christopher; sister Linda Fleming her husband Terry; brother Steve Locke his wife Ann; brother in-law Bruce Christopher his wife Julie; brother in-law Eddie Christopher wife Tish; brother in-law Les Shephard wife Darlene; nieces Cassedy Glyn (Christopher), Brooke Fontenot-Amedee (Shephard) and Tiffany Raybourne; nephews, Sean Shephard, Bryant Shephard, Tripp Christopher, Clark Fleming, Tony Locke, and Toby Crooks; Christie is preceded by father O. Clark Locke; mother in-law Ida Christopher; father in-law Ed Christopher; brother in-law Danny Christopher; sister in-law Zoanne Crooks; & nephew Kelsey Crooks.

The celebration of Christie's life will be held on November 7th at 2:00 pm at The Woodlands United Methodist Church: 2200 Lake Woodlands Dr., The Woodlands, Texas 77380, the Harvest Room. Anyone who would like to attend is welcome for the service and reception afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, you may choose to donate to one of these three options, or , in the name of Christie Locke Christopher.
