Graveside services for Christopher Wayne Mann of Conroe, Texas will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 3:30 P.M. at Oakwood Cemetery in Coldspring, Texas with Pastor John Fernandez officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Conroe Funeral Directors. Christopher was born on January 4, 1988 in Houston, Texas and passed away on October 10, 2014 in Conroe, Texas.

Chris graduated from Montgomery High School, and attended Blinn Jr. College in Brenham for one year. For the past few years, he has been employed by Tri-Cor in Conroe, Texas. Chris was a big fan of the Texans and Nascar, and in his spare time he was a Power Lifter. He was always the life of the party at Sam's Boat on Lake Conroe and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, W.C. Rip Thrower. Chris is survived by his loving family: mother, Shelley Mann of Conroe; step-dad's, Randy Woods of Montgomery and Mark Caron of Conroe; brothers, Colton Woods of Cut-in-Shoot and wife, Taylor and Austin Woods of Norman, OK; grandmothers, Kathleen Thrower of Coldspring and Rosalie Thrower of Houston; aunts, Beth Woods of Conroe and April House; uncles, Dennis Thrower of TN, Glenn Thrower of Spring, Scott Thrower of Ft. Worth and John January; cousin, Rhiannion Hale and his sweet niece, Serenity Woods.

Pallbearers: Shelley Mann, Mark Caron, Colton Woods, Austin Woods, Corey Caron, Brent Baker, Glenn Thrower, Nathan Ashby and Perry. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending memorials to: A & D Propane in his honor. 936.231.2288.

Jimmy Mitchell, a professional bagpiper of Texas, will celebrate the life of Chris at the graveside through his powerful poetry of the bagpipe.
