Clarence Vernon Peace, age 71, of New Boston, Texas died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at his home in New Boston, Texas. He was born September 9, 1940 in Center, Texas. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired from 25 year career in law enforcement.

He is survived by his daughter, Geneva Carpenter Rainer of Humble, Texas, two sons and daughter-in-laws, James and Cindy Carpenter of Springtown, Texas, Mark and Tina Peace of New Boston, Texas, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brother and sister-in-laws, John and Jean Peace of Norman, Oklahoma, Bruce and Ramona Peace of Pearland, Texas.

Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Comforter Funeral Home, New Boston, Texas. Service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:30 A.M., Comforter Funeral Home, New Boston, Texas. Followed by an interment at 3:00 P.M., at Pleasant Grove Cemetery off of HWY 87 North, in Center, Texas. Under the direction of Comforter Funeral Home, New Boston, Texas.
