Clarita Nunez, 67, passed away October 1, 2014 from a lengthy illness from Kidney and Liver Disease. She was born August 12, 1947 to Nicanor and Valentina Garcia in Portland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Felix, Victor, and Nicanor. She is survived by her loving companion of several years Refugio Garza, her daughter, Rachel Lopez and husband Salvador, her son Ramon Nunez (Irma), four sister's Margie Rodriguez, Bede Murray, Laly Carrillo, and Norma Lopez, and her two brothers Jesse Garcia, and Ray Garcia. Eight grandchildren, Jennifer Garcia, Paul Gracia, and Ashley Lopez, Damien Nunez, Iliana Numez, Alex Nunez, Leydis Elizade, and Mireya Elizade and numerous family and friends.

She was a volunteer at Conroe Police Department before becoming the Receptionist for the Police Department. She belonged to Montgomery County Sheriff's Citizen Academy Alumni Association. Clarita was the Treasure of MCSC AAA, Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #1884, and was member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

The family will receive family and friends on Sunday October 5th from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. She will be laid to rest in Orange Grove, Texas.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Kidney or Liver Foundation.
