Clemetta Valentine Miller passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012. She was born in Houston on February 14, 1921, graduated from Jeff Davis High School and was a member of the Carlton Cadettes. She was preceded in death by her parents, C. T. and Clemetta McKittrick; husband, Robert J. Miller; brother, Lamar McKittrick; and sisters, Thelma Kuehn and Louise Tankard. She is survived by her daughter, Olivia Dianne Miller of Montgomery; son, Dale R. Miller and wife Nancy of Spring; grandson, Brian Miller, wife Jennifer and great-grandchildren Corinne and Parker Miller, all of Katy; sisters-in-law, Mozelle Reynolds and husband Bob of Anderson and Ima Burg of Houston; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a very caring and compassionate person and loving mother. During her life she was an officer of Miller's Laundry, Inc. a participant in Eastern Star, Methodist Hospital Medical Service Corps, Rotary, Shrine, Royal Order of Jesters and a member of First Methodist Church of Conroe and the Beacon Class. She was a former member of First Methodist Church of Houston and the Fidelis Class. Memorial service will be Saturday, October 6, at 10:00 a.m. at First Methodist Church of Conroe, 4308 West Davis (Hwy 105). Memorials may be made to M.D. Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital, P. O. Box 4486, Houston TX 77210-4486, in honor of Corinne Alise Miller.
