Cornelia "Corrie" Geertrudia Nagle, age 94, passed away at her home on January 23, 2018. She was born on December 30, 1923 in The Hague, Netherlands to Elisabeth Machtilda Wilhelmina Scherft and Willem Arnoldus van Beusekom.

Corrie was a teenager living in Holland when World War II began. At age 19, her parents sent her and a friend to a farm in the country to flee the Germans. Here she met a man named "Charlie" who turned out to be part of the Dutch Underground and was using an alias. "Charlie" (or John Charles Nagle) and Corrie fell in love and married when the war was over. In 1951, John and Corrie, along with their daughter Hanneke, moved to the United States. Corrie and her husband started out with family in Austin but moved several places in Texas before settling in River Plantation in Conroe, TX. During their moves, Corrie had her three younger children, Elisabeth, Derrick, and Corrie. Corrie was a homemaker for most of her life but later would provide bookkeeping services for several different companies in the Conroe area. They retired in to Glade Park, Colorado, living on 30 beautiful acres on the National Monument. After her husband's death in 2005, Corrie moved to April Sound in Montgomery, TX.

Corrie enjoyed sewing, line dancing, exercising classes, playing online games with family, and reading. She liked spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an active supporter of her family's activities and liked to cheer them on at sports and other pursuits.

Corrie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, sister Tilly Pronk and brother Wim van Beusekom. Corrie is survived by her children Hanneke Nagle Nelson and husband Rick Nelson of Delta, CO; Elisabeth Nagle Seale and husband Lecil Seale of Pittsburg, TX; Derrick Nagle and wife Lisa Adair Nagle of Montgomery, TX; and Corrie Nagle Miers of Willis, TX; grandchildren Jonathan Daniel and wife Jessika Daniel, Luke Daniel and wife Lisa Dorazio Daniel, McKenna Daniel, Janay Nelson Carlson and husband David Carlson, Michael Seale and wife Lynette Nichols Seale, Kari Seale Howell and husband Casey Howell, Derrick Nagle Jr. and wife Kimberlie Kidd Nagle, Kegan Nagle Wilson and husband Brandon Wilson, Clay Nagle and wife Roxy Quertermous Nagle, Frank Miers and wife Kathryn Allen Miers, and Kristen Miers Reeves and husband Justin Reeves; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
