Curtis Lee Thompson, 51, of Conroe, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014. He was born on November 6, 1963 in Cleveland, Texas, to Raymond and Velma Thompson. Curtis was a jovial man of great humor. Curtis never met a stranger and would find common ground with anyone he ran into. Over his lifetime he and his father drove trucks together to many, many places across the country. Curtis loved bar-b-que cook offs and grilling meat. He always thought his was the best and couldn't accept that he and his team didn't win a blue ribbon every time. His other great joy was the Galveston motorcycle rally. He planned his whole year around being a bandana biker up and down the seawall. He is survived by his loving wife of seven years Marsha Thompson; daughter Emily Scalise; mother Velma Thompson; brothers Roger, Stephen, and Rick Thompson; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A celebration of life for Curtis will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cashner Colonial Chapel.
