On October 31, 2016, Texas lost a treasured native son, Curtis Williams, who passed peacefully to his father in heaven. He was born on May 18, 1931 in Highlands, Texas, to Zacchaues and Della Williams. Mr. Williams, a U.S. Marine veteran, enjoyed a productive and generous life. In addition to a long career in auto sales, he was a lifelong Rotarian, a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. He also was a fundraiser for United Way and other charities, and was an active member of the Montgomery County BBQ cook off, and a master gardener.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, and his two sons. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Loraine; eight children; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a beloved great-great-grandson born earlier this year. Curtis Williams Leaves a large family and community of friends who will remember him as a great man who was dearly loved by all. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
